She runs excellent now. Other than the usual old truck issues I haven't gotten to yet. Hopefully I don't have to do anything else to her that isn't an oil change until next year. My finances need some time to recover so I can make my trip to Idaho in a few months.

Welp, the PRNDL started flickering, as did the brake and ABS lights on my way to work. Lost the PRNDL about halfway there. Truck wouldn't start once I got there. I'm taking a stab at it and guessing it's the neutral safety switch? I dunno. Bought one, went to change it in the parking lot after work (work was a nightmare tonight), and accidentally started the truck. Scared the crap outta me. So I drove her home and she's gonna sit until I have more than an hour to deal with her.

Welp, both friggin connectors for the neutral safety switch came apart trying to remove them. Gotta order new connectors for both plugs, and then I get to deal with my greatest nemesis.... wiring....

Once I catch the gremlin that's f'ing my truck up, I'm gonna wring his neck good....

Did you use a heat gun on them?

That's where you f00ked up. The only way to get them off and on is with a heat gun because of the schmoo GM put in there. Just keep warming it up until the plug starts to move. It takes a while.
Lovely. Well, it's kind of a moot point now. Both connectors are pretty well obliterated. I'm gonna hafta rewire them. Already have them on order at work, should be here in a couple hours.

Plus, I suspect they've been rewired previously, as all the wires are the same color. Also, the insulation seems to be pulling back on all the wires at the connector head.
