Windshield Wiper Issues please help

so my windshield wipers go up then back down then they go back up about a foot. Anyone had this problem before? can someone please help!

Yep.you need to replace the circuit board in the wiper motor.Happened to me recently.I swapped the boards from my '95 & '99 burbs...cleaned the contacts & now they both work.

Worst come to worst go to a pick-a-parts lot & pull the board from any(?) GMT400 windshield wiper motor and install it in yours,I did.

Hell, grab 2 or 3! Increase your odds of getting a good one! This is a common prob. At least then you'd have a spare or two.

I scrubbed my circuit board with a wire brush because I was sick of it messing up and then I soaked it in brake clean. it has since worked perfectly.
