A few weeks ago I changed the geal oil in the 93 K1500 I recently bought. It has a G80 anti slip and it works well. I put Shell Spirax HD 80/90 in it. I just noticed that the bottle says nothing about it being OK for limited slip differentials, unlike Valvoline. Anybody know if GM recommended anything special for a G80?

Right Meow
a G80 is not a limited slip. it is considered a locker. You will not ever put LSD Additive in a chevy diff unless aftermarket.
