About cam time

I'm the proud owner of a 1999 K 1500 4x4 Z71 with the 5.7 it has a new crate motor I've done the P0411 swap it's got full length long tube headman headers 2 1/4 trudeles with 2 1/4 and 2 1/4 outflowmasters I'm running the independent individual injector Style spider fuel injection system I am wanting to run a different camshaft something with more performance in mind I'm running 38 135 20 nittos 513 gears nv4500 manual 5-speed transmission 261 xhd manual transfer case 7 in of suspension lift and 3 in of body lift I understand it's a whole lot of weight to get going all at once I can still kind of do a four-wheel burnout with the big tires but it's lacking

Generally speaking, the biggest you can go without machine work on a Vortec head is .470. Beehive springs will increase the lift you can go with. Lots of info out there about cam swaps on stock motors.
