I figured I'd ask if anyone had an Edelbrock TBI intake manifold for sale before I buy one from Summit..The end goal for my truck is something fun but for the time being while my engine has plenty of life still (156k ) I'd love to throw an aftermarket intake on it.
Do you think that replacing the intake manifold with no other changes is going to get you any additional power?

I think you're about to waste a small pile of money.

I'm not expecting to pull the front wheels off the ground by swapping the intake manifold lol I know I won't see/feel much..but I should notice something small.Im putting shorty headers on it this weekend ( to clean up all the smog garbage ) we don't need it where I live and I don't want it on there. I use to have a 71 Nova SS that I fully restored that would run 11s that I sold on Ebay a handful of years back so I know my way around a sbc and I know the TBI 350s are complete turds, I'm just trying to "clean" things up a bit. Thank you

When you get hold of that Performer TBI intake, used or new, take a good look at the casting plugs in the bottom of it. We had a member on another forum very recently that had coolant dumping into his engine, and it turned out to be one of the plugs had rotted all the way through. He's lucky he caught it and addressed it before his bearings got wiped.. I suspect it was due to cooling system neglect in the past, but you never know.

Not a he-said she-said, or slamming Edelbrock, just relaying the info: https://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/365322

Thank you for the heads up! I'm not expecting much of an increase I just wanted to clean things up a little..I like the SRT8 in your profile picture, I have a 2014 Durango RT and I'm waiting for prices to come back down on rigs so I can buy a Hellcat Charger.

I have said Edelbrock intake and put it on my 305 Fireturd when I was like 19 or 18. It did pretty much nothing on it's own. I think at best it helped it make power a little lower and more consistently throughout the RPM band. But teenage me did indeed expect more from it. Especially when I dropped a JET stage 1 chip in it! LoL that was a waste of money..
Best thing I did or perhaps it was a combination of things was putting Trick Flow cylinder heads on it. Did that over ten years ago so I forget what the specs were but those really woke it up. Later test drove a 350 TPI F-body and turns out my car is faster than that so mission accomplished.

I do not think 350 TBI's are garbage. I've often thought about giving my truck the same treatment I gave my Firebird. I never gave my Firebird a proper tune, so I'm sure there's even more power to be had if I did.

I’d look at a nice dual plane carb intake and an adapter to run the TBI on the carb manifold.
Shorty headers are absolutely terrible sorry.
They add nothing for power and they introduce a much greater likelihood of leaks.
I have opinions on what headers I think are best but I haven’t yet used them so can’t give first hand feedback.

156k miles on flat tappet cam and lifters?
Thinking it would be worth while to upgrade cam/lifters and timing chain since you're in there.
cause i hear you, where do you $top?
With a hellcat :)

I appreciate all the info guys, the reason I chose shorty headers is because my truck has a 4/6 drop and I do not want to change my brand new exhaust that I just put on it,they claim to bolt up to the factory Y pipe AND Im ripping off all the smog bs off of it..I'm just cleaning things up and living with it before I put a fun combo in the truck I'm still torn between something like a manual valve body th400 and a nasty little 406 or an LS swap but for the time being I'm just cleaning things up that's it..My Dad passed away a few years back then I inherited the pickup and have been playing with it here and there since..it's came a VERY long way and the truck has sentimental value to me with tons of memories.. The truck is a C2500,TBI 350,SF 14bolt rear 373s,700r4 and has 156k

These Summit Racing heads are made by Trick Flow - 170cc intake runner, 62cc chamber for a little more CR, slant plugs, with 2.02/1.60" valves. Pretty cheap (relative term) at ~$1100/pair

I have the 3704 intake manifold which I bored out to 48mm (instead of 1-11/16" or 42.8mm) to fit my bored 46mm TB better. It works fine but, anymore they're getting expensive. As suggested above a dual plane square bore intake and a good quality adapter would work.

I'd like to do an LS like a 4.8 or 5 3 with a turbo but I have an old school way of thinking growing up seeing my Dad and oldest Brother and Uncles with Novas/Chevelles and Camaros so that's where a huge part of me wants to do a simple 4-450ish hp sbc with a th400 and a ratchet shifter in the floor because I HATE computers and the last thing I'd want is an LS swap headache with tuning and all that..
