Has anybody ever converted a 2wd to a 4x4 with a straight axle? I know I would need the Tcase, 4x4 fuse, drive shaft, cut a hole in the floor for shifter etc, but does anyone offer a bolt on kit as far as the axle goes or anybody that's fabbed their own? I'd like the 4x4 simply so I can get through in the winter, and for hunting/a little light playing. 4x4 is almost a requirement here as we can get 10+" of snow over night, and I'd like to be able to drive the truck in the winter without needing to go find a winter beater I'll need to work on every other day (been there done that) first one I had ate the radiator hose, fuel pump, second was a rear axle, front axle, alternator, ended up putting a fuel cell in when the tank just randomly fell off when the straps broke etc

EDIIT: would use leaf spring suspension if possible
