Me too! We weren't allowed to use calculators in high school - that's my story and I'm sticking to it :rolleyes:
I remember 7th Grade, being told that calculators were "cheating", and attending an informal after-school seminar on how to use a slide-rule.

Good luck even finding a slide-rule for sale. I suppose they're out there--Amazon, or some-such. Probably not locally, though.

Yeah, Chem Study in High School required we buy our own slide rule from the school store. The teacher had a giant one hanging above the chalk board. Between that and the abacus we had it covered :anitoof:
