Strip the 5.7,5 speed. Single turbo LS, TH400 and a Holley.

After all of the years with my 90, I now know exactly what I want in a 2wd RCSB.

No, I never did the trade back on the 90. Decided I had that truck long enough and would rather start fresh and do everything just once.

An ECSB would be neat. I was hoping to find an ECSB 97-98 3rd door Z71 truck, to do a 5.3 swap on and use as a daily. But this RCSB popped up.

I will be pulling the 5.7 / 5 speed from this RCSB and selling the combo, cheap.
