Wow when I read sbout Miner's daughter Oatmeal stout pretty tasty. My two favorites that I don't get often are both from Mountain State Brewing Co. Cold Trail and Miners Daughter. Drinking in moderation is the rule with no exceptions though.
Likely won't find it in your area. I'm only about an hour and a half from their brewery and its hard to get.Wow when I read sbout Miner's daughter Oatmeal stout pretty tasty.
Also reading about the blonde ale really wish I could try it here I don't know if they sell it where I'm at I'll probably again have to check the Binny's
Have you heard about the Jack Daniel smoking chips for barbecue. What I heard those chips are made from the barrels. From what I tasted the smoke does taste pretty good in the meat. From my very limited knowledge of beer, I won’t drink it(yes I’m a minor, but as long as I’m with my legal guardian it’s legal, AND my legal guardian knows better.) Can’t stand the taste. Now, we like to cook our venison back strap in Jack Daniels…..and man I love the taste of that stuff. I’ve had some wine and just prefer grape juice to be honest. lololol
I haven’t, but we do a lot of barbecuing. it sounds like it would be interestingHave you heard about the Jack Daniel smoking chips for barbecue. What I heard those chips are made from the barrels. From what I tasted the smoke does taste pretty good in the meat.
I bought some "off brand" beer from Aldi that appeared to be mimicking Shiner Bock....the first bottle was ok, the second was tolerable at best, I couldn't finish the 3rd bottle....now the other 3 have been sitting in our fridge for months now.IPA?
I didn't know what an IPA was until a few years ago. I got me a 6 pack of this local beer called El Chingon at the local supermarket (that's a bad word in Spanish, means The Badazz, but v-ul-g-a-r). https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/30364/98161/
Now, I'm no beer connoisseur, but Holy $hit! ...I was able to gulp down the first beer the first day, somehow. The second day I was just telling myself, "...self, why are you drinking this $hit? It tastes awful!"
The third and fifth day, I had throw down what I had left from the can down the sink. I felt bad, and never even thought about doing such a thing! Fourth day I was able to gulp it down, and I can't remember what I did to the sixth can, probably dumped it on my wife's plants?
One must be MUY Chingon if you are able to drink that stuff! My buddy said I just have to learn to appreciate the taste, but I'd rather drink something I like, LOL.
Edit: Spanish cuss words aren't censored!
...v-ul-g-a-r is, LOL.

I do so much barbecuing in the summer that it should be illegal. If I didn't have a wife, my grill would become the new kitchen. No propane either, I use wood only. I'm tempted to use propane but it doesn't taste as good. I only buy rootless beer for, I guess the best word is marinate meats and potatoes. My wifes beer battered fries with my cherry wood smoked ribs or Ball park hot dogs with my secret recipe burgers are the only acceptable food for summer. Pair it with the most unhealthy cherry lava cake in all of northern WI and you're likely in my backyard. Only issue with having people over is I have to move all my long term, on the back burner "projects" (or "Ezra's display of hoarding" if you aren't me) out of the way.I haven’t, but we do a lot of barbecuing. it sounds like it would be interesting
When I worked at Miller Brewing Co in the 70's it was 4.5% alcohol (9 proof) in most states but ones like West Virginia was 3.2%. Ales can have more. Kilt Lifter is ~6%. Recently I tried one with 20% which was horribleUS law after prohibition, no more than 7 proof?
