Does anyone use the GM 2 quart oil filter anymore? I used them on all my Chevrolet V8's. I have not owned a Vortex or a LSx engine so I don't know about them.
I use the GM-AC Delco filters. I started that when I worked for a Pontiac-GMC Dealer. I worked at dealer ships for 8 years as a mechanic and then for independent shops, up and including Peterbuilt Trucks and Kenworth trucks. Which used different oil filters. But we used a lot of Delo 400 engine oil that came in 5 gallon buckets. Rotella Engine Oil like that...
