Did they have hood ornaments on gm400's factory?

There looks to be a nice 1995 c/k pickup on ebay ( type number 324898307331 in search box) that has a hood ornament on it ,could this hood ornament be a factory option?

I've been considering doing this exact same thing to my burb, but it just looks out of place on that particular truck, .maybe it's just the newer grille.

Normally I like adding emblems but I agree, that looks out of place. The radius of the hood there doesn’t help. I like the clean uncluttered GMT400 Hood the way it is. The emblem does not improve the appearance IMO.

It is a nice truck attached to an ornament though!
Weren’t Canadien trucks with those? Or was that the Australian ones.

I thought they stopped all the hood mascot , emblem display stuff cause they didn't want pedestrians getting "shish kabobed " if they hit.

They had ways around that such as hood ornaments that had wires under them.

this 98 had a hood ornament, and all park avenue basemodels to 2005 came with them. cadillacs could too. TOwn cars, I think, maybe had them?
