What's helped me, is getting the part number from the dealer or gm parts. Then you can source used or at least pics to fabricate your own.. there's so many covers for the 4l60, it's not even funny
That's a great idea too. Man, I wish I would've snapped a pic. of the ID sticker/tag before slapping that sucker in there....

Struck out again there. I searched and searched today. I cannot find a PN anywhere. All of them are for the slanted 700R4 style. If you find one, please let me know!

I would say, look at the local wrecking yards if you have any in your area. Also there's an online reference site(row52 .com?) that searches yards all over the country.
Let us know if you haven't found anything; I may be able to get a yard trip in before Thanksgiving....

Check the rules for starting threads in the Classifieds. If permissible, start a thread in the "Wanted Section" to see if anyone on the Forum has what you need for a fair price. Also mention where you've already searched so people dont waste time like i did suggesting things you have already done.

Dont know what else to tell you beyond that as I dont sell parts (perhaps that's why I was tagged in this thread?)
No, I tagged you to see if you knew what would interchange, like if a gmt800 cover would work etc.
Sorry for the lack of clarity.

That won't work in my case. I took out a one piece bellhousing 4L60e and installed a two piece bellhousing 4L60e. If I give them the VIN for my truck, they'll give me the PN for the wrong inspection cover. That's what got me here....
I see
Does this look like your set up?
