Wife doesn't want to fix a 30 year old truck because it's too old and she wants a newer truck?
Hmmmm, applying her logic.... how old is your wife?

Another application down the road - how old is he? Time for a newer model?applying her logic.... how old is your wife?

For me it's less the model year that concerns me and more the mileage.Another application down the road - how old is he? Time for a newer model?
There's one "against" this logic, despite me being on the same page. Those old plastics get really brittle-and not even talking about 400s but in general. I replaced my wife's Volvo's mirror recently, and the door card was braking at minor resistance. For me it's not age so much, as condition. Well maintained, good service, beats a lot of newer trash. The cost of refurbished engine versus , the outrageous cost of new.
Agreed. Good philosophy for finding a truck, as well...For me it's not age so much, as condition. Well maintained, good service, beats a lot of newer trash. The cost of refurbished engine versus , the outrageous cost of new.
I wasWe're still talking about wives, right?
Problem is replacement might end up being a basket case, sometimes better to run what ya brung and try to fix what you have, lol.I was
