Before the clear cures, I got a few other things to fix on the truck.

This is my 5th and least rusty gmt400, and it is the only one I've ever seen with a rusted out floor.
(I didn't even know it until a few days after I bought it when my foot went through).

My father bought an '07 new and junked it in 2018 after finding that the drivers floor and rear frame were rusted through. (Also had a lot of body rust, a howling rear end, slightly slipping transmission, wrecked interior, and over 300,000 miles).

I put an older style grille on it, and now it looks awesome (I need to touch up the pealing chrome).

The clear has cured, so I've started wet sanding and buffing out the blends.

Here is where I touched up the hood (There was a rust hole right in the middle of the hood).

The quarter needs more work after this first pass with the buffer.
