I just went to the local audio shop and bought there few foot scraps of 0 guage, it was long enough for what I needed and they sold it to me cheap. Obviously you need a few feet to reach the alt, but the grounds are maybe two feet, that is scrap to them.

link do where i can buy that cylinder and fuses?

There is a link in the original post.
To clear few things up, is the 140A alt going to be enough for my needs? Probably 1 more HID kit, a few more lights, a decent sound system and a air compressor in the UWS toolbox. Gonna run train horns one of these days. lol

That solenoid doesn't even show a amperage rating, go with the Cole Hersee for extra insurance.
does one need the dual inline fuses too? and what the thing connected to the solar panel for?
Again extra insurance, that is why the 2 fuses are there. Solar panel was there to show how to connect it. I got the image from another site.

im sorta using your thread so i dont have to make another, hope you dont mind. as for shrink wrap, is adhesive lined good? and i should run 3/4 with 1/0 correct? how much red and black would i need roughly?
I don't mind at all. Adhesive lined is great, and yes 3/4 for 0 gauge. Dunno how much you will need, im gonna get 20ft of silver. Just use black and red shrink wrap on the lugs.

Depends on the wire you get and what power your running, I'm back and forth because I can't decide on what to do. Being on a budget sucks but I also don't want to get junk either. Thinking maybe getting this and hoping its enough to cover everything I need for 2 batteries and grounds.

EDIT: This seems legit OFC as well for a lot cheaper....

This is the relay you want:
http://www.boatstoreusa.com/electri...s/afi-710125a-voltage-sensitive-relay-125amp/

This is an automatic relay that will disengage the starter battery when the engine is not running. It senses the charging voltage.

If you want to use a manual relay I can recommend this one: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/WHITERODGERS-DC-Power-Solenoid-6C017?Pid=search
I've used them for several applications and they work great.

Most fuse holders they sell at stereo stores are absolute crap. The best I've found is a blue sea battery fuse. Here is a link to one:

SO you are on a budget, but want to over pay for wire with a fancy cover and name stamp? As BHB stated welding wire is as good as it gets, easily worked with and obviusly will carry the amperage and voltage needed for your little project if it can handle use on a welder of any size and stil run enough juice through hundreds of feet of lead to where someone may be welding.
