I’ve never seen glass parking lights. Here’s my Spyder Glass mounted on NOS GM adjuster’s(Spyder adjuster’s are garbage). Not using them(setup below), maybe will use if I get another 400. IMO, the NOS GM headlights are better. Also, Spyder’s own website acknowledges they are only for halogen.

You're saying you think the NOS GM headlights are better than the Spyder? I see GM Parts Direct has headlight assemblies available. They have the parking lamps also, but only for chrome and I'm looking for a black grille. I think I may go with a set of TYC

I am. I have both and use the better setup. IMO
I can’t speak of the current GM housings being sold.

For tail lights I use SPPC off of Amazon and LED reverse bulbs.

I"ve had good luck with Auxbeams. I had them in the 99 Tahoe, stock housings, with 4 hi mod. They were great. Pattern was good, didn't blind anybody, and made a big difference over stock halogen bulbs. I have them in one of my trucks now, but it's a garage queen ATM so dunno how they are yet. Also have smoked lenses, so time will tell. Plan on getting them for all my vehicles....

I installed the AUX Beam 5x7 lights in my '98 suburban and am very pleased with them. They have a very defined flat cut off beam that does not bleed upwards and they are not blinding to on coming traffic( I drove several other vehicles toward my truck to check).

I got the spyder glass-lens housings, installed torchbeam (40,000 lumen 6000k) led in them. After proper adjustment, nobody flashes me, and I can see extremely well. I did the 4hi mod, but I never use hi beam. The darkest rainy nights are no challenge for this setup!
I have no problem with led bulbs in halogen housings... IF they are properly adjusted.
I will give room for those housings thst just splatter light everywhere. You simply can NOT adjust them to a safe place with led bulbs.
The spyder housings (at least the ones I have) do create a definite cutoff line. My brother put led in stock housings, there was much less definition for cutoff.
This is my experience, your mileage may vary.

That's sort of been my experience. I can't speak for milage, but they have a good cut off line. It's been so long since I've had oem that I forgot there light cut offs. However I really can't complain. How these are made. There better then the knock offs I've used on topgearautosport.com
As for the glass. It's well made. Lmc bumper glass shattered within 1 hit. These 1 giant rock hit it and it chipped off a piece of glass. Did not shatter them. That alone made me happy.
