Front or Rear? I've debated doing a rear bumper...other then the "$hit wonder how that would look" thought, I haven't pursued it..

They would probably be really wide on our trucks. I havnt seen it done but id assume its gonna take some cutting welding and drilling

Narrowing is the easy part...I'm debating cutting 1" out of my stock front bumper when I get to that point.
I'd really be tempted to try the 14+ rear, but I dont think the step ends would look good on a OBS...If they made a "Smooth Ended" Version...I'd be all over it.

Haven't seen anyone use nbs on the obs chevys, only the 4th gen bumpers on 2nd gen cummins. But that pic @GreenZ98 showed looks badass. Almost makes me rethink the rear bumper for my 94

I have inquired several times to various people who posted pics of the swap. I received 2 diff answers.
1 used the stock brackets from the newer bumper w/ a couple of new holes drilled. didn't respond when asked if the new drilled holes were on the bumper side or frame side.
the other mentioned that the top plastic trim cap was trimmed a little to fit better under the tailgate area. I then asked about the mounting end of things & no response given on that
