That's a great ideaI bought a Schrader valve stem and bolted it into an old MC reservoir lid.
Pressurise it with the tyre compressor that plugs into the ciggy lighter socket. Leaks at the seal but that's OK - saves over-pressurising - but still provides enough pressure to push fluid.
Without doing ANY bleeding, the pedal is back. At about two inches of depression, the pedal gets way hard and the brakes work great.
Go figure. Maybe divine intervention?
Im also fortunate enough to live on a farm and can safely activate my abs to cycle it if I have to. but you know I dont wait for a problem to arise that requires it to be bled. I cycle the abs for fun every couple months in the snow or in gravel. I believe this exercise keeps it in good running order. the abs works flawlessly on both of my trucks.
