Where do tie down straps?

I have a 97 k1500 single cab and dont really have anywhere to attach town straps when I want ot haul something. what is everyone else doing?

I cut slots in my bed for the newer style GM tie downs that they've used since the 800 series. You could accomplish the same thing with D rings.

There should be a hole in the stake pockets, that's where I hook mine into. I don't remember the exact location of this hole, but it's there for tying down things.

My 91 stepside didnt have anything to tie down to neither.
I put Eye Bolts in the drain holes to atleast hold my small tool box and gas can from rolling around back there.

I put some bolt in d rings in mine. When its light out Ill get some pictures of how i did mine.

I have always run eyebolts and fender washers thru stake holes. Which reminds me I gotta do that with my 88 rclb still.

I use clamp on tie down anchors. They are black and have a little hook on them. They are ugly but so is my truck. The nice thing with them is they can go anywhere so they are especially useful right behind the toolbox. Cheap too. Google Image search "Lee Valley Tie Down Anchors".
