I was actually joking with Mr Pink....

And at one time I held an ama pro roadracing license - I have been sideways at 150+, jus sayin.
My apologies for coming in hot on the rack subject and cudos on the RR License. One more license then I got!
Getting a little sideways in corner at 150 in a vehicle designed and built sqpecifically TO drive fast in a corner is like me bragging about driving down the turnpike in my TT 300Z at 180+... thats what they were built to do. BUT you strap a pair of 4 inch skinnies up front, double your horse power and then drive that road course and get a little sideways.... just sayin.

Hope I'm not polluting the thread, but the NA V6 in my Gladiator is rated at 295. TQ is minimal though.
Heck no! Right on! I remember building a 500+ hp 82 short bed and it was bad ass! Nowadays there's stock stuff that would embarrass that truck! Haha

I may be an engineer but I have also raced in many different capacities over the years and built cars ranging from spec Miata's to full on pro-mod's so with that said, for my truck i am still debating P/S. As it will be mainly street driven with occasional Drag trips, I really want to do HRPT and HRDW with it. so it has to be dead nuts reliable.

James(@Wh4t3v3rs) and I have talked extensively about most aspects of his and my builds, we are following slightly similar paths, while he is going twin's I am going with a single. but most other stuff we are right there with.

I enjoy following both of your threads. I was just joking around.

And if you spend much time around most roadracers - we typically say that we will race in a straight line once we get old. I'm 49 now, still not old enough...

i am too broken anymore to do anything but a straight line, too much metal on my left side to stand the lateral g-force of corners.

I'll play. We talking about rides we have owned or currently own, right?
300 hp Turbo Busa. 300 at the wheel ain't too shabby if it's powering something that weighs 500 lbs.
If I have to explain what makes it my favorite then you wouldn't understand...
