Can JIC be mixed wit AN? It looks like the female end of the barbed fitting is JIC while the male end of the adapter is AN

AN is 37 degree, JIC is typically 37 degree, but also comes in 45 degree. Don't mix 37 and 45 degree, even though they have the same threads and dash sizes. 37 degree AN and 37 degree JIC are fairly compatible, but AN has tighter tolerances.

Like Eric said, you generally can mix them as long as the seating angle is the same.
