My radiator Which is original the plastic tank cracked. I ordered a new Delco radiator According to the Fitment chart this is the one that I needed it's like a 21 0 3 3 Which the AC Delco is as close to the original and so I could get. I added for about a month when to put it on it found out it's only a single row 1" thick Core which the one on my truck and is original is 2 and a quarter 2 and a 1/2 something like that. How can I find a radiator that has the dimensions for my truck that's not Is going to fail. My truck has a 114000 on it. Any advice or help would be appreciated parts are getting scarce For these trucks

What engine, and do you have the engine oil and transmission coolers in the radiator?

I thought in the C/K2500 series, only the BBC trucks came with the wider radiators? Or was that the taller radiator? BBC guys can confirm this...

It's possible the previous owner changed to a wider radiator before you bought the truck? Or are you the original owner?

I run a Be Cool radiator. Expensive, but all aluminum 2 row. The plastic ones never lasted more than 4 or 5 years for me. 350 auto in both my 1500 and Yukon. I'm not sure if they make one for the 2500HD though, but they have plenty of different sizes for racing and whatnot.

Taller.... the width is the same, except for V6 radiators, I think. The taller radiators can be used if the top brackets and shroud are changed, but those parts may not be easy to find... someone a few months ago was having a hard timing finding the brackets.

Past summer I installed a duel core Spectra CU624. For transmission and oil cooling.

Yes, the V6 trucks do have a radiator that's smaller (width-wise.) Something around 27" vs 34". Don't quote me on the exact dimensions.

I recall the thread about those brackets. I wonder if one can replicate something that will work...with a vise, a big 'ol hammer and/or welder?

But OP noted a difference in thickness?...

FWIW, I have owned my 1999 CCSB 5.7 4L80E 3.73 4X4 8600# GVWR since it was new and it came equipped with the thinner radiator.

Not sure why, but at the time I replaced it, it was actually about $20 less to buy the thicker one vs the thinner one at oreilleys.

Part number for the one I bought was 431334 IIRC and was Murray brand.
