Quick Disconnect Fitting on Heater Inlet Hose

I was thinking if you still wanted to use the straight brass barb fitting, you could restrict it's flow by using a ball valve. It would have to be a ball valve that you could partially close

Or just clamp the hose a bit from the outside - as in squashed?

That might work as well! A hose clamp is much cheaper than all those fittings..

Ain't going to leak either. Or require opening the coolant system to fit. And, adjustable!!!
Hell this isn't rough - it's worthy of a patent!

I will give it a try ! It will be awhile before the cooling system is hooked up,,

Just stick a marble (glass of course) in the heater hose... one small enough to allow flow, yet large enough to restrict flow. It will lodge and restrict, somewhere...

Love the graphics! Yes, only restrict ouput 3/4 inch side..This is the piece I am working with, I guess with some machining a reducer could be installed.. 90° male pipe elbow | Hose barb fittings - brass | Fairview (fairviewfittings.com)

The ball valve, hose clamp or thread in restrictions may all work but for me I simply added a standard barb fitting and pressed one of these mustang restrictors into the 3/4 hose. Designed to live in coolant and my heat is hot, no noise from the core.
