Are the heater hoses up front 3/4 or 5/8. I’m adding valves to close off the heater core. I bought 5/8 valves. Not sure if I have the correct size. It’s on the list of things to do AFTER the AC is right!

Get a caliper and measure them. That way you'll get it right.
