This is MY OPINION, so take it for what it is worth.

Custom built 2.5" y pipe into a single 3" IN/OUT high flow cat (Thunderbolt or Magnaflow) then 3" pipe into a CB extreme or 14" magnaflow and then ran all the way past the axle to the exit of your choice...

I have just single 3" pipe from my muffler out the back tucked tight to the bumper.

Look into some "Race Pro's" or "Street Pro's" from a company called "Pypes". They are relatively inexpensive and sound great. They are not too loud, especially in 2.5", and they flow REALLY good. The chevelle guys swear by em.

Sounds good! The description of the Race Pro on their website sounds a lot like a Magnaflow, comes with a lifetime warrany too

I have a dynomax ultra flo X, but I would run a Magnaflow system, cats and mufflers. They sound the best even tho other mufflers appear to be made like them.
