They have a lot of different setups. I haven't really done much digging to see what's what.

And they also make this gizmo that converts a portable band saw into a mini-stationary vertical band saw. It's also on my list to buy for some years now. https://www.swagoffroad.com/products/swag-portaband-pro-table

I'm currently looking at a horizontal band saw though. I've been doing enough metalworking that cutting stock with an angle grinder is too time consuming.

Maybe ten years ago, I bought a Jet horizontal band saw at the local Home Improvement store.

Has worked perfectly well for my occasional use.

At that time, it was about $350. I can't find anything comparable on Amazon that isn't $900+

Picked up some new tools from Freight Depot over the weekend. A 12" 1/2 drive ratchet and a set of Quinn screwdrivers. Say what you want about this place, but the quality of their tools has massively improved over the last decade.

Also check out this wrench. Not sure how it happened but looks pretty kool.

Dimensions? Dare I ask price? Why steel and not pole barn?
If the reasoning is anything similar to what I've been going through, these steel buildings go up a lot quicker than pole barns. Under a certain size of building it's a bit cheaper and more efficient than a pole barn build. At least that's how it is around me, I got quoted a framed in steel 25x35 with 2 doors for about 9500 installed on a pad versus almost 13K for a 24x30 pole barn with a single door.
