I did a little research and read that the reluctor wheel for the SSR will fit the T56 and has 40 teeth.

You sure about that? SSR has a 32 spline output vs the 27 spline on the F body trans.

After some more research it involved changing the output shaft and tail housing.

There was a company that used to make 27 spline 40 tooth reluctors, but that was forever ago. Could probably get away with some sort of signal converter box too.

the converter box looks like a good option if it actually works. Dakota Digital has one for a little over $100.
