help figuring out what TV cable i have...

TH350 doesn't use a cable...it's vacuum operated for shifting.. Downshifting for passing gear does use a cable

Perhaps that explains why it was unhooked!

so my shift problems are because its just a junk tranny not because of that cable?

i mean its a hook up just like to 700r4 thats why i thought it may be the cable

The hook up is for the passing gear detent cable. Hooks to the throttle and when said throttle is depressed far enough the tranny kicks down a gear.
Looks a lot like a TV cable.

At least they're relatively inexpensive to rebuild compared to a 4L60E. Last TH350 I had done was like $ 375

I was on Ebay just now looking at TV cables and they have a listing for 2 different lengths one is 45.2" and the other is 39.5, is one for the cars and S-series trucks and one for C/K's?

Did fluid n filter change. Tranny is shifting fine just need kick dOwn cable now

Went to tranny shop got the right cable and runs great. Just like its suppose to
