Do you have any pics of the swap like in my thread above? What are you using it for? I'm still running 6-bolt tires in the front and 8-bolt in the back but you can see its more tractor than truck at this point, lol.

Anybody know the part # or what u joint I need to install a 14 bolt 8 lug into my 97 k1500
WHICH "14-bolt 8-lug" axle do you have? 9.5" semi-float, or 10.5" full-float? Both are "14 bolt" and both could have 8-lugs. With the 9.5, the existing driveshaft is likely to work. With the 10.5, I expect you'd have to shorten the driveshaft.

I used a Precision brand part number 447
As did I, to connect the driveshaft to the 9.5" semi-float axle.

Daily ride. 10.5:ff. I've purchased the adapters to go from 8 lug to 6 lug already. Wld I b able to use the driveshaft out of the donor truck even tho it's a 2500?
