Quick question regarding u bolts and a 14 bolt swap

I’m swapping a 14 bolt in and it’s well documented. I know I need a conversion u joint. I have one on order.

What I need to know is regarding the u bolts. The thicker axle tubes mean I need new u bolts and the plates. I bought a rear axle from a source through my work. I isn’t coming with the axle plates or u bolts.

I don’t know chevys so I don’t know what I need. I’m about to order these.

GM U-bolt Plates, pair (2.5" springs)

Plus, the benefit of "flipping" the plates so they don't sit there and collect crud, and rust out your u-bolts, like the stock parts do.

And that's on a Texas truck!! No rust belt stuff.. just an '88-'89 parts truck I pulled apart back in '06. People.. check your u-bolts
