I have just acquired a 90 GMC sierra short bed with a 5.7 L with 260,000 miles. Truck is in great shape decided to rebuild motor. I had the heads hot tanked And re-valve sealed. I guess the question I have is I want to put a different cam in it. Not so much worried about horsepower but more of the sound. I don’t have 900 hp money but I wanted to sound like it.What size cam should I put in the 5.7 L to where I can keep the same pushrods and rockers. Any advice would be appreciated.
