Your missing the mechanism that unlocks the catch on the tracks that allow the seat to slide forward, after the seat back is tilted forward. The crew can has no need for this option so it doesnt have it.

Arent you the same guy to swap the rear bumper if that same generation truck on too? Ive seen many seat options but this looks the best and will for sure feel the best, even with the amount of work to get them inIt folds forward like it normally would. There isn't anything blocking the travel of the seat. My seats came from a crew cab truck, but I have a single cab.

The width of the seats including the jump seat is 57 inches, same as the bench seat that came with the truck. The rails on the new seas are wider and they also had hooks and nipples i cut off with a cutting wheel and then used an angle grinder to smooth everything out.
My goal was to use all the existing holes if I could. I welded two 3/16 in thick steel bars on the seats and sat them back in the truck and marked where the holes would be by shooting up the holes with spray paint. Since the passenger side only had two holes because there was a bench seat, after I marked the two holes and drilled them i measured out 10 inches for the other two holes I had to drill because there was clearance underneath at that point. I utilized m10 1.5 60mm bolts.
As for the jump seat. I used one of the existing holes that held he bench seat closest to the driver and welded a 6" piece of steel to the bottom of the jump seat and bolted it down from the rear. I then used two #14 2 inch slef tapping sheet metal screws on each side to hold it in place.

I clipped the air bag connector lines since I won't use them. I never got a ping for not wearing a wiring the seat belt sensor so just left it alone. If you know something different, let me know.Did you wire in the seatbelt sensors to work too? Also, do these seats have airbags inside? If so what did you do about those

Looks like it left the factory that way! Very cool! I've been wondering if this was possible to do. I have a 2006 Yukon XL Denali and a 99 Chevy suburban, if I can't sell the 06 complete I may part it out and put the seats in the Burb. It has gray leather but they are pretty beat up. Has anyone swapped the second row seat out of a GMT 800 back to a GMT400?ALL DONE!

well here it is everyone, the finished product.
I lined up the rear holes and drilled new holes in the front so the weather teach mats will still fit
driver seat went in with no modification
looks great!
both seats now have 9-way power and heated seats as well
all said and done cost me about 50 bucks for the 2 seats and some grade 8 hardware
I wire the heated seats up to my factory fuse panel and used one of the open spots so it looks totally factory
let me know what you all think
THANKS!
