So do I--why'd they get rid of that size?
Because 16" is a dying tire size. All full size trucks have moved on to larger diameter as a base size.
Just as 225 60 16 was the "it" size for most full size cars, car manufacturers designed larger brakes, necessitating larger wheels. And trucks grew, so did their brakes, so did their wheel size.
