well, 1994 k1500 suburban this time, I was going down a logging road when i heard a strange noise, thought it was a branch stuck under the truck, turned out different... got a u-bolt and a piece of wood to make a half-assed repair, it holds in place for now, pretty good for a below-zero on the ground job imo, (I always drive around with a full set of tools.) Would ideally like to do a real repair, get the bracket replaced but its so tight and dark in there i cant see anything, nevermind the freezing part, that 43 gallon tank with skid plates is blocking access somewhat, if anyone has a link to the bracket, it would be appreciated, job dont look so bad on a pickup if you take the bed off especially but thats just not an option, and i would prefer to diy as inexpensive as possible...
