Unfortunately, I have tried that, it is the angle of the k1500 mount that is not allowing for installation. I have some c1500 upper shock mounts on the way, I’m thinking this will resolve the incompatibility.
I see the issue now. Hopefully the 2wd mounts fit without much work. Good thing the beds off

Ran across your post while searching for a solution on mine to eliminate the bar pins. Same search turned up these bolt-on brackets (see video). Not sure if you've solved your issue yet, but this might be worth looking into, if not. The company is based in Ft. Worth, they definitely look promising. Only downside appears to be they're using eBay to sell them, and they're definitely proud of them ($300 for the brackets, or $500 with Bilstein 5100s).
