Shock extension help needed

Well, got it done.
Used a drill press for the 1/2" hole, combination of burr and jigsaw to finish it up.
Can see in the last pic how far off the original hole actually is. Crazy weird.
Anyway, hopefully tomorrow finish it up.
Gonna be a fight getting the "locking bolts" drilled in. Don't have a 90⁰ drill so fighting for space. I'll make it work....I'm just that damn stubborn!

If you have a compressor the 90* air drills are pretty reasonably priced at harbor freight. Have done good for me in tight places so far.

I do have a compressor. Unfortunately not the funds to buy a drill right now due to job loss a week ago. I'm in no rush as this rig ain't hitting the road until spring.
