He's probably asking why he bumped it. The answer is because I had questions about the 14 bolt swap and couldn't find this thread

What year 4x4 trucks got the 14b? going to resume hunting for one this week. Also did any of the 14b come with the 3.42 gear ratio? If not I will have to do something with the front as well.

yes some came with 3.42s. I don't know specifics on the years though. I'm sure it was all of them, spread out among 15/2500(not 3500 because they'd probably be 8 lug I'm assuming)

So like 88-94 k2500 trucks would be a starting point

Do what I did, find trucks being parted out on craigslist and call the seller and see what axle it has. Until 1995z71 posted an axle, that's what I was doing. I found several that way
