You can, if you must. Personally, I don't like spacers. Many have used them & had no probs, though.

Make sure you get hub centric spacers, don't cheap out on the flat spacers. You need your hub to be able to take the load of your wheel, not the lugs.

just make sure the inside of the brakes clear the outside of the leaf springs.
