The real test for drinking beer again is going to be this summer when I'm floating in my pool and there's a brisket in the smoker.

Anyways, I found out last night that there was a car show in Burnet, TX today. Dodgey is from Burnet, so it was like we gotta go! That's about 35 miles from my house, BTW and the longest trip I have made in it.

Woke up this morning and checked the fluids, tried to Rain-X the windshield because it was misting heavily. Got on the road and couldn't see nothin'. So then I spent the next 3 hours trying to get the wrong windshield wipers to work and driving all over looking for a wiper blade. I finally got something together and I think I only had to use 3 times.

Anyways, drive was pretty uneventful. Loud though. Used 10 gallons of gas to go 70 miles. :) We got there way late of course, so we had to park off the main event location.

I use to have maybe 100 (so called) friends. Although I never quit drinking, I made some healthier lifestyle changes that don't involve sitting around drinking. Now I have 3 - They are actually friends though, not just misery looking for company. Proceed with caution, based on what your long term goals are. :)

In context with what’s going on it’s not surprising.

Be careful what you read on the internet, especially if it comes from the New York Post. Here's a link to MSU's actual "Inclusive Guide". I couldn't find "Christmas Tree" in there anywhere.

That looks like it was a great show!
I like the old Chevy and GMC pickups. The GMC looks like it's a long bed half ton(which was only available on the GMC). Those are fairly rare compared to the short bed ones. I've only seen a few, including the one I have (and one of these years will get running again!)....
Even my really old truck is a long bed haha!

The show was just the right size, IMO. I don't enjoy thousands of people in the same spot, manners seem to vanish.

I didn't know that about the GMC. I just dig those old eye brows on trucks.
