I'm looking into sub boxes for my 91 ext cab and I'm wondering 10"s or 12"s any advice?

Go on.....Are you stuck on 10s or 12s?
Agreed. And why arguably the industry standard for a bass amp is an Ampeg SVT w/8 10” speakers always sounds better than say 4-12” or 4-15”. Devastating live!Well, if it was me doing under back seat instead of center console. I would do multiple smaller drivers. Here's why......
Bass is just the action of moving air, so that's why a 15" sounds louder then an 8". It simply moves more air! So with that being said, instead of a 10" upwards or downwards firing,I would do (2) 6 1/2" forward facing. If you want (2) 10", then do (4) 6 1/2". Find the right driver and the box should be smaller and have the ability to be ported. With 10" or12" drivers there won't be enough airspace under the seat to get ported. Just have to put a tape measure on it and figure your airspace and that will tell you how many drivers..... and this is just my opinion.
These aren't a gmt400, but it will give you the idea.
