Received an e-mail from Craft Customs. Steering wheel should arrive via FedEx in a few days. Bit longer than I anticipated, but I wasn't going to bother them since I expect nothing less than perfection when I unbox it. Pics to come once it arrives.

Hi do you still have the battery? I might need one after all.... thanks!Someone can have the battery, too. It works fine. I've been keeping it charged. I'm just going to buy an Optima Red Top.

I got $10 says it's scope creep. That's what happened to my poor Suburban. Still haven't got her back together yet.I'm sorry but did I miss something? All of the sudden you went from battery to steering column and now you are swapping the engine?
I was going to ask on your other thread what happened to your engine to begin with?...
Or is this the effect of the snowball rolling downhill that's getting bigger and bigger?
What size is the battery, and is it top terminals or side terminals? My crew cab has a group 75 in it, but I would be more comfortable with a group 78 in it. We generally use the largest, highest CCA battery in our vehicles, and they last a little longer because they're not straining.Yup! Still have the battery and the alternator.
Well...when ya get ahold of one of these "allegedly well cared for" trucks, and then get into it,or drive it some, and find out things aren't quite as advertised.....I got $10 says it's scope creep. That's what happened to my poor Suburban. Still haven't got her back together yet.
