  If you are going to buy an intake and carb anyway might as well buy some vortec heads and add some power.

  You could run the TBI heads/intake/EFI on the 327 for now just to get it running until you find a good 350 .

  Where I live in Indiana there are alot of gmt400s that have 400ss or 350ss stickers on them all driven by Immigrants from Mexico.

  Most gmt 400 trucks used gen 1 small blocks all the way to 2000. Gen2/LS engines were never in them.

  I bought a Baldwin one this year to replace a 5 year old Wix one and it was still made in USA, BTW also bought quite a few Bosch oil...
