Is this harness routed correctly, or am I missing some kind of clamp to hold it off of the EGR hose? I'm chasing some electrical issues, I'm pretty sure some of the wires are damaged here.

Not certain if it is routed correctly, but you should not leave wires exposed anywhere. In the engine bay or any exterior surface susceptible to weather or dirt (e.g., undercarriage, frame, etc.), cover the wire with split loom (a.k.a. convoluted tubing), and then wrap the split loom with electrical tape. On the interior, wrap the wire with electrical tape and then fabric tape. At least, that is what I do. But, just leaving a wire exposed enables it to be easily abraded (or chewed by rodents) and for the conductor to be exposed, with possibility of a short or open in the circuit. Adding a layer of protection will help prevent far costlier repairs.

The illustrated parts breakdown for the earlier trucks lists a "RETAINER , PLASTIC 7 INCH ADJUSTABLE STRAP" under part number 3816659. I don't have the Vortec IPB saved, so I'd recommend downloading it and searching.

If you detest the corrugated tubing, there are other options.

Ok thanks. I taped up the damaged wire, and used some tie wraps to the A/C line to keep the harness from sitting on the EGR tube.
