Tech/info map sensor seal

On the vortec an LS engines we have a cruddy orange rubber map sensor seal that is almost always torn up. Nobody ever stocks it and it is expensive. It turns out that Harley Davidson map sensors use the exact same one! It is surprising stocked in their parts department and priced appropriately. It is part #11291.

That's cool! I remember Harley used ignition points out of a Chevy 6 cyl back in the 60s too.

Hell of a find. I ended up getting one from Jegs a while back, but no doubt paid too much!

It is interesting what crosses over sometimes. I know that a lot of the Harley Davidson paint colors are also Ford colors.

Glad to have found this. There's a Harley dealer one mile from me who had these in stock. $2.89 out the door for one.

Harley used GM roller lifters too, with a slightly larger orifice for more oil flow.
