Yep. I always include the Katy part because when you tell people Cypress they think farther North. Give me a day or two to get it off the truck because 100% I'm not using it and don't want to mess with trying to re-sell it, so if you want to mess with it, it's yours.

If you’re happy I’m happy for you!! You make yourself feel special/good with something that you like nothing wrong with that! An if you do lil work to it then it’s just making it into your truck not just one bought off the lot!! Lol

I once traded a janky grille like that off my Jeep for getting my taxes done. My tax lady also drove a rural route for the post office and needed a cheap grille she could use to push trash carts and brush out of the way with.

Is this the gen5 454/nv4500 truck that was mentioned previously?

If your going to run it mainly in town, would a th400 be a good option?

Killin' me. Let me get annoyed with driving a manual trans in Houston traffic again, and it just may happen. ;)

BTW I was talking about that truck up there and my buddy says he can arrange shipping to get it down here pretty easily. Dunno at what cost.. but I'm a little "over-projected" at the moment with zero room in the driveway and no active plans to sell either SS just yet.

Probably same truck? I'd been eyeballing this one a week or two now. Most of my driving is back and forth to work, which is about 26-30 miles (depending on traffic/route on a given day) and a good chunk of that is freeway. I don't think I could tolerate the combo of non-overdrive trans / big block / and what are probably 4.10 gears. If I did convert to auto it'd be 4L80E but then that means I'd have to dig up some wiring harness, PCM, etc. that could be tough to source. My first choice would have been the same truck as an automatic but I'm OK with manual.. for now.. (wait until I get the current cost on rebuilding the NV4500 and you'll hear me complaining otherwise)
