Finally took Steve in to town to get him aligned. Went nice and smooth. Now I can drive with one finger. The brakes work ok, but I am wondering if the 800 MC is not the best option. It's nice and firm, but I feel like I have less braking power.
IMO it's a easy swap and my pressure went way up with this swap. Almost as good as hydroboost to me. I did the RAWL delete at the same time.

I added the dip switches. Stock ones have hard wired jumpers. There are several write ups on how to set these up. Note that although there are 7 jumper positions mirrored on both sides, the first one always is on on the right side and off on the left so you only need two of the six position dip switches which are easier to find. The position I have the switches in makes the speed the computer sees match actual speed according to GPS for 285/70-17 tires. My cluster still reads fast, but that's OK because I know its just this particular cluster reading 2.5 MPH too fast. I have had 3 different clusters in this truck.

I'm in the process of resealing my intake again. I did a real lousy job on the rail beads last time and had a horrible oil leak down the back. I'm going to also make an attempt at sealing the throttle body adapter better, I found a Buick gasket that should do the trick.

Got my new gaskets today. This Buick gasket it the ticket for the carb pad! Also interesting that in the 25 years since my old intake gasket was made Felpro went from graphite layers to MLS on the intake flange.

That's the aluminum 425 intake, right? Thought I remembered you mentioning it in the build thread. Gotta be better than the boat anchor 472/500 cast iron one.

I use a late 80's 454 TBI adapter, which GM used for a couple years when they used TBI on the GMT400 big blocks but before they developed a new manifold design. But the 454 carb pad is a bit different shape and I had trouble making sure the sides were properly sealed.
