I’m building as many posts as I can. With that, what’s the correct sealing procedure on a crankcase pan on this 383 I’m putting together. Do I put a bit of Red RTV on the corners of the oil pan, if so, both sides of gasket? Or is that only for the four piece pan gaskets.

Use a sealer the same as normal. Won't hurt and cheap insurance, not all pans and front covers are the same. do you want to do it twice?

i think grandma in the video sums it up pretty well, i put RTV instead of gaskets (24h to dry), to seal holes the roof, fix panel gaps, leaks around the windshield, secure rattling plastic pieces on the inside, etc. stuff is great
