At least you found it. I would go with the Holley cover. I don’t have any experience with them, but plastic doesn’t even sound right.

I would try using an oil dye to be positive you know where the oil is leaking. If it's leaking from somewhere up higher and running down to the oil pan you will know it for sure. It's hard to believe you did all this work and it's still leaking from the oil pan. It could be a bad block.....cracked, scarde, ext. Just something to think about.
