What and who the F takes a GMT 400 to 100 MPH.
Those of us with a need,,,,a need for speed! What and who the F takes a GMT 400 to ( F hate converting to USA, love you) 100 MPH. I have posted this before. Speed Gov in my 5.7, because of the tires, I have never been able to put it in 5th on a hammer run. All Good, 26 years ago I would be kaput, in the turns.
Explain??Those of us with a transmission capable of executing a WOT 3-4 upshift.
Since we're on the subject of rev limiters (and fuel cut off), on 96+ gmt400s, how is the fuel cut off activated? Is it mechanical or is it hardwired into the ecm. And how would one go about in deleting/adjusting the threshold?
I had no problem hitting ~120 with the 4L65E and 3.42s with 3rd gear only. ~5,000 rpm was ~120. Tuned but otherwise stock L31 had the power to run there. Those of us with a transmission capable of executing a WOT 3-4 upshift.
