Removing trim w/ eraser wheel - adhesive wet or dry?

These tips are excellent. When I did it to my first truck, I used an electric drill at 4000 RPM. The wheel was completely gone by the time I finished because I did not let it cool off. But $40? I purchased mine at a local Finishmasters and it was $15. Not 3M brand but same product.
